A nut-free romesco that gets its body from roasted red peppers and its depth from nutritional yeast and dulse. The dulse replaces salt entirely while adding iodine and potassium. This is a micronutrient delivery vehicle disguised as a dipping sauce.
Why these ingredients
Nutritional yeast adds B12, zinc, and selenium alongside umami. Dulse flakes replace salt while contributing iodine, potassium, and iron. Turmeric provides curcumin – paired with the cayenne for enhanced bioavailability.
